An Understated Dominance - Chapter 262
Joshua gritted his teeth and raised his dagger once more.
“Die!” He poured all his strength into the attack, convinced that Dustin wouldn’t be able to block it, no matter how tough he was.
“Hmph!” Dustin was clearly fed up. As Joshua charged at him, Dustin swiftly grabbed the dagger with one hand. With a firm grip, he crushed the blade into pieces, the sound of metal crunching echoing in the air.
“What?” Joshua stared in disbelief. Before he could react, Dustin reached out and pressed a finger against his chest.
“Boom!” In an instant, Joshua felt as if his bones had shattered. He collapsed to the ground, feeling numb and unable to move.
“What did you do to me?” Joshua gasped, shocked and terrified. He never imagined he would be beaten by someone so young and unknown.
He was a divine-level martial artist! As the direct disciple of Boulderthorn, he should have been unbeatable in Swinton upon his return.
Why couldn’t he defeat this kid? Where had Dustin come from? “Let her go!” he shouted, but Dustin ignored him, looking down with a sneer, as if Joshua were nothing more than an insect.
“You think you can take me on? What trick did you use?” Joshua was still in disbelief, unable to accept that someone like Dustin could defeat him.
“You talk too much!” Dustin snapped, clearly annoyed, and he stomped down hard on Joshua’s knees.
With a sickening crack, blood sprayed everywhere. Joshua screamed in pain, his face twisting in agony as sweat dripped down his brow.
“How dare you!” he shouted, feeling fury rise within him.
“You insolent brat!” he yelled, but the sight of Joshua in pain only made Dustin seem more powerful.
Injured, the crowd became furious.
A large group of guards from the Hummer family quickly surrounded Dustin. They were armed with guns, clearly prepared for a confrontation.
“Rhys! Let go of my brother! If you don’t, I’ll command my guards to shoot!” Tina shouted, trying to sound strong.
Even though Dustin was powerful, he was still human and could be hurt. With so many guards around him, escaping without injury was unlikely.
“Go ahead and fire. I want to see who gets hit first,” Dustin said coldly, showing no fear.
Tina was frustrated. If the guards shot, they would also hit Joshua, who stood right next to Dustin.
“Dustin Rhys! We’re in Hummer Villa. You can’t act like this here! Let him go, or you’ll regret it!” Jade said, her face expressionless. She had not expected Joshua to lose to Dustin.
But in this world, bravery didn’t matter as much as power. Joshua had the Hummer family and Boulderthorn on his side. After marrying Joshua, Jade would also have the support of the Grant family. Who would dare challenge him then?
“I’ll regret it? I can’t wait to see just how much!” Dustin declared, and with that, he stomped down hard on Joshua’s other leg, breaking it.
