“I’m here to… steal the bride!”

Dustin’s footsteps echoed loudly in the hall, breaking the silence as everyone turned to look at him. The crowd was shocked; no one expected someone to interrupt the wedding between the Langford and Nicholson families.

“Oh my goodness! Who is this guy? Is he crazy enough to disrupt the wedding?” someone whispered.

“You have to admire his guts. He’s actually challenging two powerful families!” another person said.

“This is getting interesting! Looks like we’re in for a show!” someone else added.

After a brief moment of silence, the crowd buzzed with chatter, pointing and gossiping about the unexpected interruption.

“Dustin?” Dahlia’s face lit up with joy at the sight of him, but that happiness quickly turned into worry. She appreciated his bravery but knew his actions could lead to trouble. By interrupting the wedding, he was taking on both the Langfords and the Nicholsons.

“Is he out of his mind? He’s making a scene all by himself! Where does he get that courage?” Dakota exclaimed in disbelief.

“What a fool!” Jane said, pursing her lips. She looked at Dustin as if he were doomed. She knew Luis had prepared for this moment and had security all around the hotel. Dustin had walked straight into danger.

“Impudent fool!” Luis’s face turned cold with anger. The thought of Dustin putting himself in harm’s way made him furious.

“Rhys! I’m warning you to leave now! Otherwise, you’ll regret it!” Florence shouted, her frustration boiling over. Her daughter was just moments away from marrying into a wealthy family, and she was determined to protect that future.

Dustin stood boldly on the stage, ignoring the criticisms and threats around him. His eyes were locked on Dahlia.

“Dahlia, I’m here,” he said firmly.

“What are you doing here? Go back now!” Dahlia’s forehead creased with worry as she noticed the Langford family’s bodyguards moving closer.

“I won’t let you marry Luis. I’m taking you away today!” Dustin declared.

“Are you crazy? This isn’t the time for you to act like this! Please, just leave!” Dahlia urged him, waving her hands in desperation.

“Listen, I know you’re scared, but trust me. Everything will be alright after this,” Dustin replied earnestly.

“It won’t work… You don’t know who you’re dealing with!” Dahlia shook her head anxiously.

She knew Dustin could fight and had the support of the Harmon family. But even they were no match for the Langfords, especially with the Nicholsons backing them up.

“Dahlia, have I ever lied to you in all these years?” Dustin asked suddenly.

“No,” she admitted, shaking her head.

“Then please, believe me just this once.” He reached out his hand to her.

Dahlia hesitated, her heart torn. She wanted nothing more than to run away with Dustin, even if it meant leaving everything behind. But there were too many things to consider.

“Dahlia, don’t think about anything else. Let me handle it. Just this once, be a little selfish,” Dustin said sincerely.

She bit her lip, contemplating her choice. It felt like she was nearing a decision. Taking a deep breath, she prepared to respond.
