An Understated Dominance - Chapter 355
“Go to hell!” Keane shouted. Spotting an opening, he swung his sword down hard. Suddenly, a silver needle zipped through the crowd and struck his sword, causing it to shatter with a loud clang.
“What? Who did that?” Keane retreated quickly, on high alert. The person who used the needle as a weapon must be incredibly strong.
“To bully the weak with strength is one thing, but sneaking attacks too? Are all the people from Boulderthorn so despicable?” a cold voice called out from behind.
Everyone turned to see a handsome man stepping out of the shadows and standing tall under a street lamp.
It was Dustin, who had just arrived! “Sir Lincoln, that’s him! That’s Dustin! He’s the one who killed Tatum’s nephew!” someone yelled.
Seeing Dustin, Luther shouted, “Kill him! We must avenge Tatum!”
Brody and Oliver stood up, their presence intimidating.
Since their father had been crippled, their family’s status had fallen. They blamed Dustin for everything and felt deep hatred toward him.
“Young man! So you’re the one who killed my two beloved disciples?” Clement said, narrowing his eyes with anger.
“I killed Joshua, but not Tatum. I only crippled him,” Dustin replied calmly.
“Nonsense! You killed Tatum!” Brody shouted, furious.
“That’s right! We saw right through you! You took advantage of Tatum’s injuries and attacked him from behind. How shameless!” Oliver added.
“If I wanted to kill Tatum, I would have done it in the arena. But if you don’t believe me, you can…”
“Assume I killed him,” Dustin said with indifference.
Looking at the situation around him, Dustin realized there was no way to clear up the misunderstanding. No matter how much he tried to explain, it wouldn’t change anything.
“Hey, Sir Lincoln! Did you hear that? This kid is so arrogant!” someone shouted.
“If we don’t tear him apart, how will Boulderthron maintain its reputation in the martial world?” Luther and his two sons added, stirring up trouble.
“Listen, young man! In the martial world, it’s an eye for an eye. If you offer your neck for half of the kill, I can give you a quick death!” Clement proclaimed.
“Go ahead and fight if you want. Stop with the nonsense,” Dustin shot back rudely.
“Not bad, kid! You’re certainly bold!” Clement replied, his expression darkening. “If I fight you myself, people will say I’m bullying you. So today, let my disciples take you on. If you somehow survive, I’ll spare your life!”
With a wave of his hand, Clement signaled his seven disciples to step forward and surround Dustin.
These disciples were the best from Royal Valor, all strong fighters. Among them, three had already reached a divine level, while the other four were high-level martial artists.
Royal Valor was clearly showcasing its top talent!
“Dustin, I’ll help you!” Maximus said, sensing something was off.
“No,” Dustin replied, raising his hand to stop him. “I want to see just how powerful Royal Valor, one of the eight sects of Boulderthron, really is!”
“Hmph! Today, you’ll admit defeat!” Keane shouted. “Star-shifting Technique! Transform!” Suddenly, the seven disciples prepared to attack.
They changed their positions and trapped Dustin in a strange formation.
“The Big Dipper Array? Haha. This kid is in big trouble!” Luther’s face lit up with excitement as he watched what was happening.
The Big Dipper Array was a famous formation in martial arts. In this setup, each of the seven fighters took the places of Dubhe, Merak, Phecda, Megrez, Alioth, Mizar, and Alkaid. Together, they would surround and trap their enemy.
The seven of them moved in a constant cycle, keeping the formation active.
Once the formation was complete, no one could escape!
“Attack!” Keane shouted. He led three people to attack from the front while the other three launched their attack from behind.
