An Understated Dominance - Chapter 360
Both Oliver and Brody felt their knees begin to weaken. “Why are such legendary beings here?” Luther thought, his face pale. If he had known he would meet these powerful gods, he would never have come.
The arrival of the four major gods from the Hall of Gods silenced everyone. An intense, threatening energy filled the air, making the crowd freeze in place. No one dared to speak, move, or even breathe loudly.
In that moment, they understood they had lost control of their lives—and they were right. In the presence of the four major gods, they felt as small as ants. Beneath their fear, there was also a deep curiosity about why the gods were there.
“Mr. Rhys, we know you’re inside. Please come out to meet us,” said Athena, stepping forward to break the silence.
“How lovely it is out here!” Rufus said as he walked out, holding a glass of wine and laughing. “Since the Hall of Gods sent all four of you, I guess you really want to end me today!”
“Mr. Rhys, the Hall of Gods values talented individuals like you. If you agree to join us, you’ll walk away unharmed and gain our protection!” Athena proclaimed.
“Ha! So you’re suggesting I betray my country?” Rufus replied, amused.
“We can offer you everything Dragonmarsh has and more! You could fully unleash your talents in Streuqua,” Athena continued to persuade him.
“I’ll tell you this: there are three things I will never do. First, I will never harm the weak, the old, women, or children. Second, I will never tolerate corrupt officials. And third, I will never betray…”
Rufus smiled broadly. “I’m sorry, but I can’t help you today.”
Athena’s eyes turned icy. “If you refuse, today might be your last!”
Rufus took a sip of his wine. “Do you really think you four can kill me?”
Athena replied confidently, “We might not start a war, but no one is better at assassination than us!”
“Enough talk! I’m ready to fight!” Ares shouted with a wild laugh, leaping toward Rufus like a bullet.
“Go get him!” Athena commanded, and the four gods charged at Rufus. Even though they were powerful, they knew Rufus was a serious opponent.
Albert, standing behind Rufus, scoffed. “Major gods? I don’t believe it.” In one quick motion, he stepped in front of Rufus to face the four gods directly.
Suddenly, loud thunder echoed around them, and strong winds howled as energy rippled through the air. The members of Royal Valor quickly backed away to avoid getting caught in the chaos.
Dustin stood at the entrance of the medical center, squinting as he watched the fierce battle. The Rhys family had three great generals: the Sword Whisperer, the Executioner, and the Drunken Maniac. Among them, the Sword Whisperer was the strongest, but Albert, the Executioner, was the most ruthless. He had reached peak grandmastery ten years ago, and now his skills were so advanced that he was on par with the four gods.

“Oh my goodness! Who is this old man? How is he holding his own against the four major gods?” Oliver and Brody were shocked by what they saw. To them, the four major gods were unbeatable in battle! So, seeing these powerful beings struggle against an old man was truly incredible.
“Wow! I’m so glad I didn’t rush into the medical center earlier! I would have been in big trouble!” Clement said, sweating as he watched the fight unfold. He never imagined such a strong master could be in such a small place. If he had challenged this man, he wouldn’t have stood a chance!
Wait a minute… The old man was from the Peaceful Medical Center, which belonged to Dustin. Could it be that Dustin was connected to this old man? With a pale face, Clement didn’t dare to think any further.
