Chapter 3326
-He also wanted to leave work early to spend time with Serenity and take breaks occasionally. Especially after Serenity became pregnant, he wished he could be with her twenty-four hours a day.
However, it was Serenity who didn’t allow him to be overly clingy. She still had to go to work.
Even though she was pregnant, Serenity needed to work, which made Zachary feel embarrassed about not working himself since he still had to earn money for baby formula.

Sonny said that he was his little brother.
If he has a son, he needs to earn money to provide him with a house, a car, and a wife, which all come at a considerable cost. Fortunately, he is not lacking in finances. In fact, he has more money than he spends.
However, no one would complain about having too much money. What he earns is enough for his son to live comfortably throughout his life.
There will be grandchildren in the future, and the wealth will be passed down through generations. He hopes that by the time it reaches his children and grandchildren, the York family will still be the richest in Wiltspoon.
“Can Alex start working next year?” Serenity often thought that Alex seemed very young. She always perceived him as still being in high school due to his youthful appearance.
When Alex went out, others would mistake him for a high school student.
Zachary replied, “He just has a baby face, but he is already an adult.”
“Let’s go back to the villa,” Zachary instructed the driver. Then he told Serenity, “Alex, the eighth young master, will turn 23 after the New Year, and River, the seventh young master, will also begin working at 23.”
Serenity smiled and said, “When I see Alex’s face, I still see a child. He will have to work before he…”
She was aware that the children of the York family typically only appeared once they officially began working, as they were usually well-protected by their family. Outside observers knew there were nine young masters in this generation of the York family. While some had already entered society, the others remained unseen.
Even among those who had entered society, the Fourth Young Master, Evan, was relatively unknown to many.
The York family was best known for Zachary, Callum, and Kevin, with very few people being familiar with them.
Evan and his siblings preferred to maintain a low profile.
Zachary said, “Grandma plans to wait until our child is born and turns one month old. During the full-moon banquet, she will have Alex help entertain the guests so that everyone can get to know him.”
Serenity asked, “Is that wrong, Alex?”
Zachary replied, “What grievance could he possibly have? When we elder brothers entered society, we all engaged in socializing with our grandparents. Who can host a banquet at home? I consider myself fortunate.”
Serenity placed her hand on her belly, sensing that the baby seemed to be moving. She paused her hand to feel it quietly but couldn’t detect anything.
She understood this wasn’t an illusion; the baby was indeed moving, though the movements were subtle and hard to perceive. If she occasionally felt them, she might dismiss them as an illusion.
After a while, the fetal movements became more pronounced.
Jasmine, who was more than a month ahead of her, could genuinely feel the baby’s movements.
Zachary asked, “What’s wrong? Are you feeling nauseous? If you’re uncomfortable, I can take you home right now. You don’t have to accompany me back to Wildridge Manor; it’s a bit far.”
Noticing that she was touching her belly and then suddenly stopping, Zachary grew concerned, thinking she might be feeling unwell.
and requested the driver to change the route.
Serenity quickly replied, “It’s not uncomfortable. Don’t be surprised. Just a moment ago, I thought I felt the baby move again. When I focused quietly, I couldn’t feel it.”
“Zachary.”
Zachary promptly corrected her: “Call me husband. Hearing you say my first name makes me anxious, and I worry that I may have done something wrong to upset you.”
When Serenity was upset, she would use his first name.
