Serenity said, “You seem really nervous right now. When I give birth, will you drive to the hospital by yourself like Elisa did?”
Zachary replied seriously, “Don’t compare me to Elisa. I don’t know how to do that. I’ll definitely feel nervous, but I won’t be so overwhelmed that I forget about you. I will be with you in the delivery room.”
Serenity asked, “You’ll really be there with me in the delivery room?”
Zachary confirmed, “Yes, I will be there when the time comes. No matter what happens, I will be by your side.”
Serenity smiled sweetly.

Serenity said, “Zachary, thank you.”
Zachary replied, “Thank you for loving me so much and being so kind!”
Zachary added, “Please call me ‘husband.’ I love hearing you say it. I should actually be thanking you for bringing our children into this world. You are a tremendous contributor to our family.”
“No more thanks are necessary,” Serenity smiled as she fell into his embrace, and he hugged her tightly.
Happiness filled her heart.
Though Zachary was generally a man of few words, he spoke sweetly to her now.
He had changed so much for her; his affection was evident.
More than an hour later,
Zachary’s motorcade arrived at Wildridge Manor.
Tania emerged from the room, her well-groomed face showing signs of nervousness.
She had heard that her eldest son, Zachary, and his wife, Serenity, were returning, but their arrival was sudden and unexpected.
Tania felt anxious, worried, and frightened.
She feared that something might have happened to the children while they were out.
As soon as Zachary’s car came to a stop, Tania quickly approached and opened the door, while the driver reacted swiftly.
Tania unlocked the car and opened the door, leaning in to help Serenity. She asked, “Serenity, are you feeling uncomfortable? Do you want me to call a doctor? I can have Sam contact the family doctor right away.”
“Zachary, how are you taking care of Serenity? You mentioned that you can look after her well. Regardless of how important the company’s matters may be, they are not more important than Serenity. Don’t get too busy with work; make sure you take good care of my daughter-in-law.”
The same applies to your grandmother. She expressed a desire to move in with you both and has been observing the two of you. In just a few days, she was back to her usual self, chatting with people at the foot of the mountain about the scenery.
Tania didn’t give the young couple a chance to respond, directing her concerns toward Zachary first. Worried about her daughter-in-law, she even spoke about the old lady’s concerns.
After learning that Serenity was pregnant, the old lady insisted on moving in with Zachary, fearing he wouldn’t manage to care for Serenity adequately. However, after observing how well Zachary looked after her, the old lady realized her worries were unfounded. Her life had returned to normal, and she no longer felt homeless.
Finally, Serenity seized the moment to speak. “Mom, I’m fine. We just wanted to come back for a reason. This is our home as well. I truly don’t feel uncomfortable. Zachary takes excellent care of me; he is more attentive and considerate than anyone else. If I hadn’t experienced his love firsthand and enjoyed the grace of my wonderful man every day, I wouldn’t have believed he could be so thoughtful.”
“Are you really not feeling uncomfortable?” Tania asked, gently touching Serenity’s forehead and finding her temperature to be normal.
