Was Zachary really overweight? Impossible!
Zachary exercised daily and maintained the same diet he had before getting married. He was not overweight!

However, since he frequently helped his wife with the supplements she couldn’t finish, Zachary hesitated to deny eating them.
Concerned about his appearance, he quickly asked his wife, “Seren, do I look like I’ve gained weight? Do I have a belly?”
Serenity playfully pinched his belly and laughed so hard she had to hold her stomach.
She found her husband’s concern amusing.
It turned out he cared a lot about his handsome image.
“Husband, you haven’t gained weight, and you don’t have a belly. Your figure is still in great shape, and you maintain it very well. Honestly, I’m not lying; Mom is just teasing you,” she reassured him, still chuckling.
Zachary hurried to the bathroom and checked himself in the mirror multiple times before emerging.
As he walked out, he complained to Tania, “Mom, every time I come home, you tell me I’ve gained weight, which really affects me. Seren takes great care of me.”
Zachary’s tone was filled with exasperation.
Tania had once thought Serenity was not suitable for him, but her own wisdom prevented her from taking any harmful actions against Seren. Instead, she protected Serenity at all costs.
She may not have been the best mother-in-law, but she certainly surpassed many others in that role. Later, Seren held the top spot in Tania’s heart, with Liam coming in second; he and his brother were jokingly competing for the last place.
Zachary complained, “You always call me fat!”
Tania smiled and reassured him, “Alright, alright, I won’t call you fat anymore; that’s enough.”
Serenity added with a smile, “Mom, please don’t call him fat next time. He takes good care of his figure. I’m not exactly thin myself. During my prenatal check-up, I discovered that I had gained some weight. My sister even commented during our video chat that I’m looking a bit fuller now.”
Tania replied, “You have gained weight, but that’s expected since you’re pregnant. I’ll ask the kitchen to prepare some soup for you. Are you having dinner at home tonight?”
After assessing Serenity, Tania felt it was time to ensure her daughter-in-law was well-fed, as she still looked a bit too thin.
“Mom, we’ll have lunch at home. We’re picking up Sonny this afternoon and then heading to my sister-in-law’s for dinner. She has some distinguished guests and has invited us over,” Serenity explained honestly.
Tania felt a twinge of disappointment, as she had hoped her son and daughter-in-law would stay at home a bit longer. Upon hearing about dinner at her sister-in-law’s, she asked, “When does Sonny’s winter vacation start? It should be soon, right?”
Serenity responded, “Winter vacation begins next week. He has school on Monday, but he won’t go to kindergarten on Tuesday or Wednesday.”
Tania’s mood lifted again as she quickly said, “Please send Sonny home during winter vacation. I’ll help take care of him so you and your husband can enjoy some time together.”
“The baby has been born.”
