Upon hearing this, Marco instinctively felt compelled to follow.
“Don’t follow me!” Pedro repeated coldly.
Marco’s legs froze in place.
Holden and his three sons could only watch as Pedro carried Kathryn downstairs. Soon after, they heard the sound of a car departing.
It was clear to them that Pedro had driven Kathryn away from the Farrell family mansion.
Holden instructed his three sons to go downstairs while he made his way to the study door. He remained silent for a long moment before raising his hand to knock.
“Go away, don’t bother me!”
Clarissa’s furious voice echoed from within the study. She sat at her desk, holding her phone, instructing her assistant, “Whatever it takes, I want Liberty dead!”
Clarissa was in a foul mood, determined to confront Audrey. Her annoyance only grew upon hearing the knock at the door.
Holden’s hand recoiled, but he soon knocked again.
“Clarissa, it’s me,” he called out to his wife.

Clarissa ended the call, tossed her phone onto the desk, and leaned back in her chair. She took a few deep breaths, softened her expression, and replied, “Come in.”
Holden opened the door.
Pedro hadn’t locked the study door when he took Kathryn away moments earlier.
“Clarissa, what’s going on with Kathryn?”
Holden wasted no time and directly inquired about their daughter’s situation. He approached Clarissa, his voice rising in anger, “That’s your biological daughter, and you were so heartless. I can understand that Shiloh was killed by you, but Shiloh wasn’t your biological daughter, and…”
