Chapter 3442
Pedro gently pinched her lovely nose and said softly, “You’re still feeling dizzy and uncomfortable, so just relax and get some rest without worrying about anything.”
He continued, “From the moment I came to your side, I have no regrets. I will remain loyal to you for the rest of my life and will never change my mind. As long as I am alive, I will stay by your side without regret.”
Pedro lowered his head, wanting to kiss her, but paused just before their lips touched.
Kathryn understood his feelings but had yet to respond.

Pedro hesitated to act impulsively.
“I’ll listen to you and contact Liberty now,” he said.
He gently stroked Kathryn’s head, took off his coat, and covered her with it, saying softly, “I’ll take you to the hospital after I contact Liberty.”
“Um,” Kathryn murmured, her eyes still closed.
She disliked the dizziness and wanted to go to the hospital to check what medication she had taken. She hoped to feel normal by the next morning.
Pedro exited the car, returned to the driver’s seat, and called Liberty.
Liberty answered quickly.
“Miss Hunt, Matriarch Farrell is furious with you,” Pedro warned. “Our young lady asked me to inform you that, if possible, you should stay home for the next few days. It would be best if you temporarily left Jensburg and returned to Wiltspoon.”
Liberty was not overly surprised by Pedro’s call.
Mr. Jimenez was alive and had met Audrey, her aunt, and was staying in her house. It wasn’t unreasonable for Matriarch Farrell to know that Mr. Jimenez was alive…
Panic would seize her, and she would take the risk of dying alongside her. Liberty had already mentally prepared herself. Audrey had also cautioned her to remain vigilant and avoid falling into Matriarch Farrell’s devious traps.
“How is your young lady?” Liberty asked Kathryn with genuine concern.
Pedro responded honestly, “Matriarch Farrell drugged the young lady. Despite her quick reaction, the drug still took effect. She was unconscious for a while but is awake now, though she still feels dizzy and uncomfortable. I’m taking her to the hospital now. That’s all, Miss Hunt.”
Pedro ended the call abruptly.
Once Pedro hung up, Liberty wasted no time and called Kevin.
“Sister Liberty,” Kevin greeted, still residing in the Queen family’s old house, his mood cheerful as he smiled.
“Kevin, the situation with the Farrell family has changed. Matriarch Farrell drugged Kathryn and incapacitated her. She intends to kill me.”
Clarissa understood that Kathryn had a close personal bond with her, and she knew Kathryn was not the type of woman who would kill without remorse. If Kathryn were aware of Clarissa’s murderous intentions, she would undoubtedly try to intervene.
Thus, Clarissa had no choice but to incapacitate Kathryn to prevent her from interfering. From another perspective, Clarissa was also attempting to protect Kathryn’s life, as all the wrongdoing was committed by her.
What if she were to fail?
The people in Wiltspoon would spare Kathryn because she had not aligned herself with the wrongdoers. In that scenario, Kathryn could lead a good life. With her abilities and Pedro at her side, Kathryn could thrive outside the Farrell family. This could be deemed a way out that Clarissa, as a mother, had envisioned for her daughter.
Upon hearing this, Kevin’s expression turned serious.
