Chapter 3530
Callum left the company with a sense of happiness and went to Camryn to express his affection.
He hoped that Evan would seek his help every day, allowing him to assist with various tasks regularly.
Evan: “…”
Meanwhile, at the Stone family residence.
Leland was accompanied by Finnegan, one of Silver Fox’s most skilled apprentices.
Finnegan, not much older than Duncan, was a serious individual with sharp, piercing eyes. A few moments of his gaze could make anyone’s heart race.
“Mom, here is the evidence collected by Grandpa Jimenez. I found it exactly where he said it would be,” Leland said.
After receiving the evidence from Leland, Audrey did not examine it right away; instead, she handed it to Uncle Jimenez first.
Uncle Jimenez had meticulously preserved the evidence over the decades, ensuring that the handwriting and other details remained clear.
“Uncle Jimenez, could you take a look at these?” Audrey asked gently.

Uncle Jimenez donned his reading glasses, took the materials, and opened the box. After examining each item, he remarked, “These are the pieces of evidence I collected. While there aren’t many, they can implicate Clarissa.”
He handed the box back to Audrey and asked, “Audrey, can you see if these are sufficient?”
Audrey inspected the letters, old photographs, and other items inside the box. She replied to Uncle Jimenez, “Regardless of their sufficiency, we can eliminate her once we confront her. She is well aware of this; otherwise, she wouldn’t have sensed our meeting. Her nervousness and fear led her to plot against Liberty.”
If Kathryn hadn’t warned her, Liberty would have been in serious danger.
Audrey had mixed feelings about Kathryn.
Although they were cousins, the age gap was substantial—Kathryn was old enough to be her mother.
They didn’t share a sisterly bond, but it was true that they admired one another.
Sadly, Kathryn’s biological mother was responsible for the deaths of Audrey’s parents.
This created an irreconcilable animosity between the two cousins.
Kathryn acted out of her own values, and she aimed to help her mother atone for her past sins. She also sought to end the cycle of hatred in her generation.
She didn’t want to pass it on to the next generation.
She recognized her mother’s wrongdoing and was determined not to repeat those mistakes. She refused to harm her sisters for fame or profit.
“Uncle Jimenez, can you hang in there?” Audrey asked with concern.
She needed to take Uncle Jimenez to confront Clarissa directly.
However, Uncle Jimenez was quite elderly, and she worried he might not be able to hold on.
“I’m fine. I won’t let myself die without avenging the matriarch. Even if I do die, I won’t be able to rest in peace,” he replied.
For decades, Mr. Jimenez had endured immense suffering. He had survived until now thanks to the efforts of the old miracle doctor and his apprentice, as well as his strong will to live.
He constantly reminded himself that he couldn’t die or give up; he had to stay alive, find the two young ladies, overthrow Clarissa, avenge the matriarch, and ensure that the matriarch’s position was restored and handed over to Audrey. Only then would he feel worthy to face the matriarch.
In truth, he had been negligent.
As the assistant to the master, he was supposed to protect her, but he failed to do so, resulting in the tampering of the master’s car and ultimately causing a tragic accident.
The accident resulted in the death of everyone in the car, leaving him with an immense psychological burden.
