Chapter 3547
“Is there anything you need me to bring back?” Lilian asked Serenity.
Serenity shook her head. “I just arrived today; there’s nothing to bring back.”
Once Zachary came to pick her and Sonny up, she planned to buy some gifts for her in-laws.
Lilian smiled. “Yes, you just got here today. Alright, I’ve finished packing. Let’s head downstairs for dinner, and afterward, I’ll be leaving.”
Jane also suggested to Serenity, “Let’s go downstairs. Tim is cooking for us, so let’s enjoy a meal with Lilian.”
The Johnson family was very welcoming, often gathering together to eat.
No matter which household the younger generation visited, they never had to worry about going hungry.
This atmosphere resembled that of the York family.
Lilian commented, “He’s not a master chef. If he’s cooking, it’ll just be a few home-cooked dishes. He won’t be changing the menu.”
The three women chatted and laughed as they walked out.
Lilian was confident. “Even if Tim had the courage of a god, he wouldn’t dare to stray. Besides, with such an excellent and beautiful wife like me, why would he look at anyone else?”
If Tim ever dared to cheat, she’d make him a eunuch in an instant, ensuring he could never touch another woman again.
She often claimed her scalpel was very powerful; with just a flick, she could ruin a man.
Jane thought of her brother-in-law, Tim, who couldn’t stand up to Lilian, and covered her mouth, laughing softly.
Serenity added, “He won’t cheat on you. The way he looks at you is so intense that we, as bystanders, feel awkward staying too long. It’s like we’re superfluous.”
“Bright light bulbs.”
Sometimes, they truly were light bulbs. Lilian was not shy; she spoke candidly. “That’s just his nature—very passionate. I’m a bit more reserved, while he is fervent, so we balance each other out.”
In bed, Tim’s passion far exceeded hers. Perhaps due to her medical background, Lilian had a clear understanding of human anatomy, which made her less interested than he was.

He often worried that his skills weren’t adequate to satisfy her, so he frequently sought her out at night to refine his techniques.
He would claim he needed more practice to improve, and once he became adept, she would enjoy it more, so she had to support him.
Lilian didn’t want to deal with that urge. She had to assist him in his practice while also ensuring he took care of himself, fearing he might overexert and tire himself out, which would ultimately impact her pleasure.
It must be noted that his skills had significantly improved; at least now, she found more enjoyment in their intimacy.
Regardless of how thick-skinned Lilian was, she couldn’t openly discuss such personal matters. She assumed that Serenity and Jane understood well enough.
Their partners were similar to Tim in many ways.
During dinner, Tim and Sonny joined them in the fourth room to eat.
After the meal, Tim walked Lilian out.
Everyone else was considerate and refrained from following, giving the young couple a moment of privacy to express their reluctance to part ways.
“Come back early if you don’t have anything important to do,” Tim urged.
He wanted to accompany Lilian, but she wouldn’t allow it.
Lilian pointed out that he couldn’t treat patients, nor could he fight like she could, so why would he want to follow her? Did he expect her to protect him?
Tim found himself at a loss for words. He knew he couldn’t win an argument against his wife. While he wasn’t so helpless that he required her protection, he simply didn’t want to be away from her. She had a much busier schedule than he did.
