Kevin had always admired Zachary, both in his career and personal life, and had consistently followed his example.
“Your company is closing for the holidays soon, right? Will you be spending New Year at my house?” Kevin gently asked Hayden.
Hayden responded, “Not this year. However, on the third day of the New Year, my family will visit yours to pay our respects. We’ll be with my mom on the second day as she visits her family.”
Both families had already considered each other as in-laws.
Kevin smiled, “That sounds great. Once the Civil Affairs Bureau opens after New Year, let’s get our marriage certificate. Planning the wedding will take about two months, so we can aim for March when the weather is perfect.”
“Just plan it out.”
The families had already discussed the wedding schedule. Callum and Camryn’s wedding would take place first, followed by Kevin and Hayden’s.
Other brothers, like Evan, who were of marriageable age had not yet found partners. They would likely have to wait until next year.
The matriarch was delighted. Aside from Evan, the others were actively pursuing their relationships.
By the time Kevin’s wedding occurs, Serenity’s baby would be nearing its due date.
Thinking of all the joyful events surrounding New Year made the matriarch smile in her sleep.
Kevin escorted Hayden back to the Queen family hotel, taking her upstairs to the presidential suite. He followed her inside and closed the door to ensure privacy from the bodyguards.
Once inside, the bodyguards moved to their rooms on the next floor, prepared to assist if necessary.
Hayden encouraged Kevin to go home and rest, but she settled on the sofa, leaning against him as he sat beside her.
Kevin naturally wrapped his arm around her, and they leaned into each other. Hayden had rarely been this close before.
