Chapter 3575
Serenity followed Sonny and Titus to their room, watched them climb into bed, and tucked them in with a quilt. She turned on a small light, switched off the main one, and said, “Sleep well. Don’t get up to play, and don’t stay up talking all night. If I hear you talking, we’ll cancel tomorrow’s trip to the children’s park.”
Although the boys were only three or four years old, they chatted like adults when together, able to discuss anything for hours.
Serenity believed that as these two grew up, their clever words would deceive many.
Sonny and Titus exchanged glances and replied in unison, “We’ll go to sleep and won’t talk.”
While they enjoyed chatting, the prospect of playing outside tomorrow sounded even better.
Serenity leaned in and kissed them goodnight, whispering, “Good night, sweet dreams.”
She gently brushed her nephew’s hair.
Rather than leaving immediately, Serenity sat outside the room until the boys fell fast asleep, then returned to her own room.

She found new messages on her WhatsApp, including two from Zachary.
One was a photo of Zachary at his desk with his computer on, confirming that he was indeed on a business trip and busy with work.
The second message read, “Wife, I miss you. I’ll come back to pick you and Sonny up when I’m done.”
Serenity stared at the photo for a long moment before responding: “Go to bed early and don’t overwork yourself. I’m going to sleep too. Your son just kept kicking me, as if protesting and telling me to rest.”
Zachary quickly replied, urging her to go to bed immediately, followed by a hug emoji.
Serenity lay on her side in bed, feeling uncomfortable lying on her back because of her
growing belly.
She chose not to respond to Zachary again, fearing that he would continue messaging her and disrupt her sleep.
She wondered when Audrey and the others would leave for Jensburg. Lilian had mentioned it would happen within the next two days.
Currently, Lilian was in Wiltspoon, evaluating Grandpa Jimenez’s health before heading to Jensburg.
Serenity silently prayed for the safety and well-being of everyone she cared about.
Before long, she drifted off to sleep.
In her dream, she saw her parents with two strangers. Her subconscious informed her that the strangers were her grandparents, the former heads of the Farrell family.
She yearned to embrace her mother, but despite her mother’s warm smile and soothing voice, she couldn’t reach her. Although her parents seemed to be speaking to her, Serenity couldn’t hear them, and they couldn’t hear her.
After what felt like an eternity, her parents followed her grandparents away.
Serenity chased after them, but just as she was about to catch up, her father turned and said, “Seren, don’t follow us. You can’t come where we’re going. Go back.”
He then pushed her away.
Suddenly, Serenity woke up.
It was still dark outside, even though it was already five in the morning.
In winter, five in the morning was still pitch black, unlike summer when it was light by half past five.
Serenity stared at the ceiling, replaying the dream in her mind. She closed her eyes again, silently pleading, “Dad, Mom, I want to see you again. Please visit my dreams once more.”
