Chapter 3576
Unfortunately, Serenity couldn’t fall back asleep after waking. She turned on the light, got out of bed, and headed to the bathroom.
Afterward, she returned to her bed, still wide awake, and pondered about her parents. Had they reunited with her grandparents? Were they okay?
If they were aware of what was happening in the afterlife, would they know about her sister and Zachary’s situation in Jensburg?
Serenity smiled bitterly.
When someone dies, it’s like a light going out. How could they know anything?
Even if her parents and grandparents could somehow be aware, they wouldn’t be able to assist her sister.
She dreamed of them because she had been thinking about Jensburg, the tragic fate of her grandparents, and her parents’ car accident. What occupies your thoughts during the day often appears in your dreams.
Unable to sleep, Serenity changed her clothes, freshened up, and left her room.
She entered the children’s room, quietly opened the door, and saw the boys still sleeping. The quilt had slipped halfway off the bed; only Titus was covered, while Sonny lay curled up without it.
Serenity walked over and gently pulled the quilt back over Sonny.
“Who’s there?” Titus suddenly shouted, jumping out of bed and landing on the floor.
Serenity was momentarily speechless.
“Titus, it’s Auntie,” she responded.
Titus realized it was Serenity and smiled innocently. “Oh, Auntie Seren, I thought it was someone else.”
He climbed back into bed and lay down next to Sonny.
“I noticed you guys had kicked off the quilt, so I covered you up and woke you. It’s still early, and it’s dark outside. Go back to sleep.”

Serenity was impressed by Titus’s quick reaction.
She had only lightly pulled up the quilt, and he noticed.
Sonny, in contrast, was sleeping soundly.
As a martial artist, Sonny was slightly stronger than other kids his age.
Titus was the true martial artist, while Sonny was still developing his strength.
Titus apologized, “Maybe I took Sonny’s quilt and kicked it off. Aunt Seren, I’m sorry.”
Everyone—whether it was his master, uncle, or mother—always said he had a habit of kicking off the quilt.
When he lived in his uncle’s medicine valley, where winters were harsh and snow was thick, his uncle wouldn’t allow him to use heating, insisting that he needed to toughen up against the cold.
During that time, he rarely kicked off the quilt because of the frigid temperatures; instead, he longed for thicker blankets rather than tossing them aside.
However, when he returned to his mother, he often felt overheated and would unconsciously kick off the quilt.
Serenity gently reassured him, “It’s warm enough with the doors and windows closed. Sonny’s winter pajamas are quite cozy. Don’t worry, go back to sleep.”
Although Titus could be mischievous, his maturity made him quite endearing.
Had his family not experienced such turmoil, he would still be living a carefree life as a young master.
Even after reuniting with the Johnson family, he would have enjoyed a life of luxury. However, Jane and Ben were not his biological parents, and he had no knowledge of what had happened to his real family. All he understood was that he was different, lacking his own biological parents, grandparents, or relatives.
