Married At First Sight Chapter 3728
In Chapter 3728 of Married At First Sight, the characters were simply following orders. While working for Liberty, they received better pay and bonuses compared to their time with Zachary. Liberty didn’t concern herself with their personal lives, but if a suitable match arose, they wouldn’t mind meeting someone.
Liberty returned to her office and finally concentrated on her work. Later, as evening approached, she received a message from Duncan stating he would arrive at her company in two minutes.
Liberty quickly packed up and went downstairs to meet him. At the same time, she called Audrey to inform her that she wouldn’t be home for dinner, as she was dining out with Duncan.
Upon hearing that Duncan was coming, Audrey chuckled and responded, “Duncan’s eager! Enjoy your time together.”
Duncan appeared to be deeply in love with Liberty and was excited to see her. As Liberty stepped out of the office building, she noticed a car parked outside. Soon after, Duncan emerged from the vehicle.
He stood by, waiting for his bodyguards to unload the suitcases and wheelchair from the car. It seemed he was now able to stand for short periods and walk a bit farther. Liberty hadn’t seen him in a while and was unsure about the progress of his recovery. He had mentioned that he was undergoing physical therapy every day, determined to walk normally by the time they got married. He didn’t want to wed her while still in a wheelchair.
Liberty smiled as she walked out. When Duncan spotted her, his face broke into a wide smile, and he began walking toward her. One of the bodyguards pushed the wheelchair and cautioned, “Young Master, sit down. Don’t overdo it.” Another bodyguard, carrying a suitcase, whispered to his colleague, “He’s seen Miss Hunt; he’s not sitting down now.” Duncan could…

Duncan was able to walk short distances, though his steps remained unsteady. Nonetheless, this was seen as a positive development. During his last check-up, the doctors expressed their amazement at his recovery, as they had initially believed it would take years for him to walk again. However, after just a few months of therapy, Duncan was already managing to walk small distances, largely due to his strong willpower.

What the doctors were unaware of was how many times Duncan had come close to giving up. Fortunately, Liberty provided the emotional support he needed to persevere. The bodyguard pushing the wheelchair chose to remain silent, concerned that Duncan might collapse. But when Liberty saw Duncan walking, she quickly rushed toward him.

“Duncan, you’re not fully recovered yet. Be careful!” she called out as she hurried to his side. Just as she reached him, he appeared on the verge of falling, but Liberty caught him before he could hit the ground. The two bodyguards hung back, allowing them some privacy. One bodyguard, who was dragging a suitcase, whispered to his colleague, “He did that on purpose.”

His colleague shot him a glance and replied quietly, “Keep that to yourself. If he hears you, your bonus will be docked.” The bodyguard quickly fell silent. Duncan missed Liberty so much that he didn’t mind being a bit dramatic to get closer to her.

“I told you not to push yourself,” Liberty gently scolded. “If you fall, I’ll feel terrible.” Duncan replied, “I was so focused on seeing you that I forgot everything else. I completely overlooked the fact that I’m still recovering.”

Before he could say more, Liberty softly pressed her hand to his lips. “Don’t say you’re disabled,” she said firmly. “You’re just temporarily unable to move. You’ll get better.” Duncan’s eyes were filled with emotion.

who are helping me manage things,” Duncan replied, a hint of pride in his voice. “Alright, I won’t mention it again. I’ll improve. For you, I’ll regain my strength.”
“You’re already on your feet, but you can’t walk too far just yet,” Liberty noted, offering her support.
“Would you like to return to my office first?”
“Are you done?” Duncan asked, glancing at the sky. “It’s getting dark despite it only being five o’clock. Winter days are short, and with the clouds, it feels even darker.”
“I’m finished,” Liberty confirmed.
“Then let’s go eat. I’m hungry,” Duncan said, eager to avoid her office, knowing it would lead to a longer stay. He preferred to return to the hotel, where the bodyguards wouldn’t need to follow. After dinner, they could stroll and talk. He had missed her terribly and had much to discuss. Typically, she worked late, and although he longed to speak with her, he waited patiently for a video call until she was free. Sometimes, she also needed to talk to her son, Sonny, before resting.
“Alright, let’s head to the hotel,” Liberty agreed, assisting him as they turned to leave.
“Miss Hunt,” the two bodyguards greeted with respect.
Liberty smiled and nodded in acknowledgment.
“I’ll call Jim to bring the car around,” she said, but just as she reached for her phone, Jim pulled up.
“Ms. Hunt, Mr. Lewis,” Jim greeted as he parked and stepped out to help Duncan into the car alongside Liberty.
Another vehicle pulled up behind them, and Duncan’s bodyguards entered their own car.
As they began to drive away, Duncan couldn’t help but wrap his arms around Liberty. She embraced him back warmly, but they quickly released each other, remembering Jim’s presence as he focused on driving.
“Have you taken care of everything at your company?” Liberty asked gently.
“Yes, everything is under control. My three brothers are assisting me,” Duncan replied, pride evident in his tone.

“helping me, so there’s no need to worry,” Duncan replied, still gripping her hand tightly. “I’ve wanted to visit you for a long time, but I was nervous. I feared I would hold you back,” he admitted. “Liberty, do you think I’m useless? I wasn’t there when you needed me the most.”

He was referring to the time when Sonny was kidnapped. He had not been present, and when he finally arrived, Liberty was lying in a pool of blood. The memory of that moment haunted him, filling him with pain and fear.

In that moment, he realized just how much he loved her. He couldn’t bear the thought of losing her. Thankfully, his prayers were answered, and Liberty survived.

Now, she was recovering, but once again, he found himself unable to be by her side when she faced danger. Although he had arranged for people to protect her and things appeared safer than before, he remained anxious, fearful, and could only wait for good news.

Married At First Sight Chapter 3730 – Fortunately, everything turned out alright, although it was a close call.

Clarissa’s first target for a hostage was Liberty. First, Liberty lacked self-defense training. Second, she was the chosen successor of Audrey and Kathryn, and finally, her significance in Audrey’s group meant that capturing her would prevent the York, Lewis, and Stone families from acting impulsively.

Fortunately, Lilian acted quickly and pulled Liberty back before Clarissa could seize her. Otherwise, the outcome could have been disastrous.

When Duncan learned what had happened, he was terrified and blamed himself. He felt useless, believing that despite all his rehabilitation, he still couldn’t walk normally or protect Liberty in dangerous situations.

“Duncan,” Liberty said softly, “You’re doing it again. I told you not to overthink or belittle yourself. You are not useless. You’re

“You are capable, successful, and even Zachary and Clive have commended you for building your business independently of your family,” Duncan said with a smile. “Alright, I won’t mention it again.” He embraced Liberty tightly, holding her close while she rested quietly in his arms.

“Liberty, I’m just so relieved you’re safe. What if something had happened to you and Sonny? That night, you were almost in Clarissa’s grasp,” he continued.

Liberty looked up at him and softly replied, “I’m fine now, so there’s no need to worry. It’s all over. Clarissa is dead, and Mr. Dunn is gone too. My grandparents’ revenge has been fulfilled.”

That night, she indeed had come perilously close to being taken by Clarissa. If Lilian hadn’t acted swiftly, Liberty might have fallen to her death, as Clarissa would not have let her go. Lilian had saved her life; even Zachary hadn’t had time to respond before Lilian pulled Liberty to safety.

Duncan tightened his hold on her. “I couldn’t sleep or eat for days. I was so worried that I had to come see you myself.” Now that he was there, he no longer felt like a burden.

Liberty relaxed against him and gently reassured him, “I’m tougher than you think. I’ll be fine.”

“That’s a relief,” Duncan replied, not liking how she framed her struggles. He preferred to view them as blessings in disguise.

Liberty smiled. “Yes, indeed, I’m blessed. When Sonny was kidnapped, I was stabbed, but I survived. That means I’ve escaped death and will be lucky from now on. Don’t worry about me. Blessed people have good fortune, so I’m safe.”

To divert him from blaming himself, she changed the subject. “How is everything at home?”

“Everything’s fine. We’re ready to get married. Once you and Serenity are back, I’ll propose and bring the bride price. Even though we’ll just get married…”

Certificate
“First, we will continue to follow all the necessary steps.”
The proposal would be a grand and joyous occasion, ensuring that everyone in Wiltspoon would be aware that he and Liberty were about to embark on their lives together.
