Married At First Sight Chapter 3731
Married At First Sight Chapter 3731 – Liberty smiled and said, “Why complicate things? We can simply get our marriage certificate, choose a good day, and have a wedding when we find the time.”
“Actually, we don’t even need a wedding—just the certificate. However, since this is your first marriage, I don’t want to disappoint you. So, let’s plan for a wedding.”
Duncan wished to ensure she felt fulfilled.
Liberty wanted to make Duncan happy as well.
Although it was her second marriage, it was his first. Duncan was the fourth young master of the Lewis family, and it wouldn’t be fair to skip the wedding.
Duncan gently took her hand, kissed it, and gazed at her with love in his eyes. “Let’s not let each other down. We deserve what others have, and perhaps even more. I promised I’d give you a life that others envy.”
Liberty smiled and replied, “I’m already someone people envy. They wonder how I got so lucky. Even though I’m divorced and have a child, I’m marrying into a wealthy family.
“You’re so kind to Sonny; I don’t have to worry. Some even say I’m fortunate because of my sister. It’s true—Seren has brought me good luck.”
The two sisters had supported each other for over a decade and shared a deep bond. As Serenity often said, if she didn’t treat her sister well, who would?
To Serenity, Liberty was both her older sister and a maternal figure.
“You are a phoenix,” Duncan said. “No matter what others say, we live our lives for ourselves. As long as we’re happy, let them be envious.” He added, “I haven’t heard anyone say that about you to my face, but if I did, I’d make sure they wouldn’t be able to speak again.”
Liberty chuckled, “Why so aggressive? Let people say what they want. You’re so good to me—it’s my destiny, and I don’t…
“Do you mind if others envy us?” Duncan smiled affectionately and replied, “Alright, alright, I’ll listen to you.”
Upon returning to the hotel, Duncan informed the two bodyguards that they could take a break and enjoy their own dinner. Afterward, they were free to relax, as he preferred not to have them following him and Liberty everywhere. The bodyguards felt more at ease with Liberty by Duncan’s side.
After dinner, Liberty playfully pushed Duncan around the hotel. The Fortress Hotel was located in the busiest part of Jensburg, where every street bustled with life. Liberty, usually preoccupied with work and rarely having time to shop, enjoyed a leisurely stroll with Duncan that evening. They walked slowly, stopping to browse and purchase items that caught their eye.
They stayed out until late at night and grabbed a midnight snack before returning to the hotel. “It takes us half an hour to walk back, so I can enjoy this snack guilt-free. I usually avoid eating late,” Liberty remarked as they walked.
Duncan, carrying their shopping bags filled with clothes and toys—mostly for Sonny—turned to her and said, “You’re too thin now. You should eat a bit more; I think work is wearing you out.”
“It’s not so bad. I believe I’ve got a model figure now! If I didn’t mention it, no one would believe I’m in my thirties with a son who’s almost four,” Liberty replied, feeling quite pleased with her figure.
