Kathryn didn’t deny it. “I will eventually leave Jensburg. After the New Year, I’ll ensure the transition goes smoothly. Once Pedro and I settle down, I’m not sure when—or if—we’ll see each other again. That’s why I wanted to give these gifts now.”
