“Jessica, no,” Hank stammered, his voice rising slightly. “I’ve never even considered remarrying Liberty. That’s impossible. I’m going to wait for you to get out, no matter how long it takes. I’ll wait for you.”

“I’m sad about Liberty’s remarriage, yes, but it’s because she took Sonny with her. My son will be living with another man now. What if Sonny starts calling Duncan ‘Dad’? I barely get to see Sonny as it is—I’m terrified he’ll grow closer to Duncan than to me, his real father.”
