Jessica remained silent for a while before asking, “What do you want me to do? Can you guarantee that you won’t contact Hank again after you obtain custody of Sonny? If he wants to see Sonny, you could send him to his parents’ house for their meetings.”
“Sonny’s child support will be reduced by half to one thousand five hundred dollars a month. You can’t request additional funds from Hank for Sonny’s schooling or wedding expenses in the future. However, as Hank ages, Sonny will need to fulfill his responsibilities as a son.”
“If you can agree to this, I will convince Hank to relinquish custody of Sonny to you.”
Liberty looked at Jessica calmly and replied, “If I file for divorce, the judge will award me custody of Sonny since I have been the one caring for him all this time. Additionally, I have evidence of the Browns abusing Sonny, leaving Hank with little chance of winning custody.”
“I am only willing to negotiate calmly for your benefit, Ms. Yates. Regardless, you’re—”

“If you two live together and have a child as husband and wife, I can also sue Hank for bigamy.
