In a panic, Su Zhifei continued to plead, “Please! Just spare my life. I will do anything you want. You saved me once; hurting me now would make that effort pointless. Just give me a chance!”

Charlie smiled but didn’t respond. He watched as Su Zhifei trembled in fear. Finally, he said calmly, “Su Zhifei, you should be thankful for having a good sister.”

Su Zhifei was caught off guard and blurted out,

“Benevolence… what do you mean?” Su Zhifei asked, confused.

Charlie Wade replied casually, “I have a big project with your sister right now. For her sake, I might let you go this time.”

In truth, Charlie did not really want to kill Su Zhifei. He was still working with Su Zhiyu, and he respected Su Zhifei’s mother, Du Haiqing. She had loved her husband for many years and never tried to harm her family. Her loyalty to her husband deserved respect, and Charlie even felt grateful to her.
