The Amazing son in law Chapter 6216
Daniel is not particularly known for his intelligence.
What he lacks in smarts, he compensates for with his willingness to fight and even kill. He has managed to gather a loyal group of gangsters who support him on the streets.
Having come from a humble background, Daniel isn’t well-versed in strategy. He believes that as long as his brothers are dedicated and work hard, he will take care of them. He often thinks, “If I, Daniel, have a bowl of rice, my brothers will at least get a mouthful of soup.”
In contrast, Mike possesses a sharper intellect.
When Mike graduated from high school, he stood out as the only top student from his predominantly black neighborhood to gain admission to a respected public university that same year.
This neighborhood is plagued by high crime and divorce rates, where many young people are introduced to guns and drugs before they even reach adolescence. In fact, if a day goes by without a gunfight, the residents can hardly sleep due to the unusual quiet.
Considering this backdrop, Mike’s acceptance into university is a testament to his exceptional capabilities.
However, once at college, Mike confronted a stark reality shaped by his family’s financial struggles. He observed the lavish lifestyles of wealthier students and noted how female classmates were drawn to them, while he faced alienation and exclusion because of his skin color and lack of funds.
This experience led Mike down a dark path. He began stealing from his fellow students, taking anything that could be converted into cash, such as mobile phones, laptops, and bicycles.
By his second year, his actions caught up with him, resulting in his expulsion from the university.
Feeling hopeless, he joined a gang he encountered while trying to settle his debts, which later evolved into the group known as Burning Angel.
Using his intellect, Mike quickly ascended to the role of second-in-command within Burning Angel, earning the respect of Daniel.
However, Mike constantly fears that his position is precarious, feeling that his greatest rival is Will.
Seizing an opportunity, Mike started to speak ill of Will and urged Daniel to be cautious of him.
Unbeknownst to both men, Will’s life is already in jeopardy, and significant changes are on the horizon for all involved.
Before long, the two entered a roast goose shop.
Inside, on the first floor of the restaurant, Antonio—who had a broken leg and had lost both ears—sat behind a table in the back, facing the entrance while wearing a woolen hat. Daniel and Mike recognized him immediately but didn’t find anything particularly unusual about his presence. The only puzzling detail was the unremarkable woolen hat he wore.
Upon entering, Daniel respectfully greeted Antonio, saying, “Hello, boss!”
Mike followed suit, also saying, “Hello, boss!”
Antonio regarded the two with a complex expression and remarked, “Daniel, when we get to Syria in the future, how will you handle this? Don’t blame me later.”
Confused, Daniel instinctively replied, “Boss, what do you mean? Who’s going to Syria? Are we going to Syria?”
Antonio let out a deep sigh; Charlie had calmly revealed all his plans moments earlier.
