The Amazing son in law Chapter 6239
Soon enough, the prison guards led Charlie to the entrance of cell No. 8, his new home.
Inside, the other inmates were initially laughing and causing chaos. One of the guards shouted through the door, prompting all the prisoners to quickly line up in the center of the cell.
The two guards stationed at the door counted the inmates through the iron bars before using the intercom to alert their colleagues to unlock the gate. The guards entered first to inspect the area, and after confirming everything was in order, they signaled to the guard with Charlie. Following their lead, Charlie was pushed into the cell.
Upon entering, Charlie was immediately hit by a foul odor. The mix of body odor, foot odor, dirty bedding, and the smell from the toilet was overwhelming. Charlie couldn’t help but grimace as he stepped inside, but the other prisoners seemed unfazed by the unpleasant stench. One of the inmates, a burly white man with a thick beard, noticed Charlie’s disgusted expression and burst into laughter, saying, “Wow, our Asian beauty doesn’t seem too pleased with the cleanliness here!”
This prompted a raucous round of laughter from the group. A slender black man piped up with a smirk, “Boss, this guy looks like he’s got tender skin and soft flesh. He should be right up your alley!” The muscular man chuckled and replied, “I’ll make sure he gets used to my scent, and my little brother too!”
The laughter continued, while Charlie frowned and shot a glance at the muscular man, his mind racing with thoughts of how he might retaliate.
Noticing Charlie’s gaze, the muscular man raised his eyebrows in a provocative manner, a lewd grin spreading across his face.
At that moment, the lead prison guard introduced Charlie, saying, “This is your new roommate. He’ll be taking bed No. 16 from now on.” He then turned to the muscular man, reminding him, “Dean, you’d better behave yourself. The last incident is still fresh, and you’ve caused enough trouble already.”
“Come on!” Dean scoffed, “I just had a little fun with that kid. I was trying to give him a good time! But he couldn’t handle it and tried to off himself. Can you really blame me for that?”
A fellow inmate chimed in with a laugh, “Exactly! The boss is doing him a favor; he should be grateful! What’s there to be upset about?” He then turned to the guard with a smirk, asking, “So, is that kid dead?”
“He’s fine for now. Not dead yet, but they’re still trying to save him,” the guard replied darkly. “However, it’s uncertain whether he’ll make it. So please, no more trouble for me.”
After that, he glanced at Charlie and warned Dean, “It’s not that you can’t have your fun, but you need to know your limits. Don’t make things difficult for us.”
Dean laughed and assured, “Don’t worry, I’ll keep it under control!”
The guard nodded before turning away, leaving Charlie behind as he exited with the other guards.
As the gate closed behind them, the atmosphere shifted. The group of inmates relaxed, and Dean turned to Charlie with a sneer, “Hey, new guy! Let me fill you in on the rules around here.”
Charlie ignored him and walked straight to bed No. 16.
Seeing Charlie’s disregard, Dean’s expression soured. Embarrassed and angry, he lunged at Charlie, grabbing his collar and raising his fists, threatening, “Hey, I’m talking to you! Can’t you understand?”
Charlie frowned and replied coldly, “Your breath stinks, and your body odor is unbearable. This whole cell reeks. It seems like we need to address the hygiene situation here.” With that, he pushed Dean’s hand away and began to tidy his bed.
