Upon hearing Bruce Weinstein’s request for ice cubes, Camilla, reacting quickly, turned to the girl beside her. “Thalia, there’s someone ready at the bar in the suite. A lovely bottle of champagne is chilling in the ice bucket. Please go and retrieve it!”

Thalia snapped to attention and dashed out of the bedroom without hesitation.

Moments later, a clanging echoed through the room as Thalia returned, carrying an iron bucket brimming with ice cubes.

Camilla swiftly took the bucket from her, crouched down, and positioned it near Bruce Weinstein’s crotch. Although Bruce had initially intended to stuff the ice directly, the situation didn’t permit it, so he ended up pouring the entire contents between his legs.

He had hoped that the ice cubes would provide some relief, but to his dismay, they did nothing to alleviate the intense pain and swelling he was experiencing.

As the agony mounted, Bruce’s expression twisted in pain, and he ultimately crumpled to the ground, tears streaming down his face.

Camilla instinctively asked, “Mr. Warden, are you still in pain?”

Bruce shook his head vigorously, his voice filled with desperation. “I can’t take it anymore. Please, help me!”

Camilla felt a surge of panic. “But I truly can’t think of a solution…”

Then, almost instinctively, she suggested, “Should I call 911 for assistance?”

“No!” Bruce exclaimed without hesitation. “You mustn’t call 911. If you do, it’s over for both of us!” He understood the gravity of the situation. As the warden of a federal prison and a member of the Rothschild family, a scandal like this could utterly destroy his future.

There was no chance he could continue in his position after nearly causing a disaster while entangled in a double affair. The Rothschild family would surely cut ties with him if word got out.

Realizing he had to endure the pain, he said, “Please… check my pocket for my mobile phone. I need to make a call… I need help…”

“Okay…” Camilla replied, feeling a bit relieved that he wanted to reach out for help. She quickly fished the phone from his pocket.

In his moment of crisis, Bruce was not thinking of Charlie, whom he had met earlier that day, but of a friend, Mark, who was an attending physician at a nearby hospital.

As soon as the call connected, Bruce blurted out, “Mark, where are you?!”

On the other end, Mark’s voice sounded concerned. “I’m on duty at the hospital. What’s going on?”

“I’m in a serious situation, and you might be the only one who can save me!” Bruce rushed to explain.

Mark was taken aback. “Bruce, what happened? Are you hurt?”

Bruce choked on his words. “It’s far worse than an injury. I really need your help…”

Realizing the urgency, Mark asked, “Where are you? I’ll come to you right away!”

However, Bruce knew that even with Mark’s expertise, he might not have the necessary equipment for a proper rescue in this dire situation. The best plan was to head to the hospital.

“Mark, listen carefully. You need to prepare a completely private treatment room. No one else can be around. Just get ready; I’m on my way!” Bruce instructed.

Mark pressed for details. “Can you give me some context so I can be prepared when you arrive?”

Bruce hesitated, struggling to find the right words. Finally, he mustered the courage to say, “It’s my little brother… it’s… at least two or three times bigger than usual. I feel like it’s about to burst…”

“Holy cow!” Mark exclaimed. “Did you take something?”

“No!” Bruce replied quickly. “I didn’t take anything; it just suddenly swelled up like crazy, and now it feels like it could explode!”

“Get to the hospital fast!” Mark urged. “If it’s really as bad as you say, we need to act quickly!”

Bruce was overwhelmed with fear, trembling as he said, “I’ll be there right away!”
