When Bruce Weinstein returned to prison, assisted by his friend Mark, he was engulfed by excruciating pain and contemplated taking his own life.

Strict regulations in the prison prohibit non-staff members from entering. To avoid complications, Bruce Weinstein arranged for his confidants to meet him outside the prison, while Mark had to return temporarily to the hospital.

Back at the office, Bruce Weinstein, enduring his intense pain, instructed his confidants to head to the area where Charlie was held, planning to discreetly extract him from his cell.

The prison guard approached Charlie’s cell, unlocked the door, and called out, “Who is Charlie? Step forward.”

Charlie slowly sat up from his bed, remained silent, and quietly walked to the door.

The guard first secured the cells and then whispered to Charlie, “The warden is expecting you in the office. Come with me.” Charlie nodded and followed the guard out of the prison area.

The guard initially took him to the prison’s medical department, where, since the doctor was off duty, he handed Charlie a prison guard’s uniform, shoes, and a hat, whispering, “Change quickly, and I’ll escort you to see the warden.”

Without asking any questions, Charlie changed into the guard’s attire, while the guard stepped out to make a call to a colleague.

The incoming prison guard was of similar height and build to Charlie. The first guard instructed him, “Just wait here quietly, don’t make any noise or use your phone to contact anyone. I’ll lock the door when I leave, and you should wait for my return.”

The new guard nodded, replying, “Understood, Captain.”

Feeling relieved, the first guard removed his hat and handed it to Charlie, saying, “Put this on. After we step outside, keep your head down to avoid being captured by the surveillance cameras.”

Charlie gave a slight nod, donned the hat, and proceeded to exit the infirmary with the guard.

Upon leaving the infirmary, the guard swiped his card, leading Charlie directly to the work area for prison guards.

As they walked, the guard whispered to Charlie, “If anyone inquires about tonight’s events later, just say you felt unwell and I brought you to the infirmary. Since the doctor was off duty, I locked you in there first, then went out to find some emergency medication. It took a while, but after you felt better, I returned you to your cell.”

“Okay,” Charlie replied, finding the guard’s plan to be cleverly devised with no apparent flaws. Dressed in a guard’s uniform and hat, his face would be obscured from the cameras, minimizing the risk of detection. He felt confident that there would be no incriminating evidence left behind to raise suspicions.

The guard escorted Charlie to the top floor. After navigating through a long corridor, they arrived at the door of the warden’s office. The guard gently knocked three times and, without waiting for a response, opened the door, announcing, “Warden, the person is here.”

Seeing what seemed like a savior, Bruce Weinstein urgently called out to Charlie, “Mr. Wade, please come in quickly! Lip, you can leave now.”

The guard nodded and promptly closed the heavy soundproof door after Charlie entered.

Unable to contain himself any longer, Bruce Weinstein cried out, “Mr. Wade, you must help me! If you don’t, I’ll be rendered useless!”

Charlie looked at him and offered a slight smile, reflecting on the effort it took to reach this office quietly; his goal had finally been accomplished.
