Steve quickly waved his hand, a hint of drunkenness in his smile as he replied, “No… no need, Mr. Wade… Mr. Wade, I’m full. It’s been ages since I’ve eaten so much and had this much wine.”
Charlie Wade nodded and grinned, saying, “Now that we’ve had our fill, let’s get down to business. Please inform your team that you’re catching up with us and ask them to wait in the parking lot. We’ll take you through the back door to the place I mentioned!”
With a bit of alcohol clouding his judgment, Steve didn’t think twice about Charlie Wade’s suggestion. Given his status, he usually would have consulted his security advisor before heading off to an unfamiliar place. However, the effects of the wine made him more carefree. He cheerfully responded, “Alright! Okay, Mr. Wade! I’ll tell them right now!”
He then pulled out his mobile phone and made a call.
As soon as the call connected, he didn’t wait for the other person to speak and said directly, “You all stay in the parking lot and don’t wander off. I’m still catching up with Mr. Wade!”
The person on the other end, sensing the excitement, understood that Steve wouldn’t be available for a while and respectfully replied, “Understood, sir. We’ll remain here. Please let us know if you need anything.”
Steve acknowledged this and immediately hung up the phone.
Turning to Charlie Wade, he asked, “Shall we go, Mr. Wade?”
“Let’s go!” Charlie Wade affirmed, standing up and instructing Don Albert, “Don Albert, please assist Steve.”
Don Albert promptly replied, “Sure thing, Master Wade! I’ve got it!”
He quickly moved to Steve’s side, helping him with one of his arms as they exited the private room.
At the back entrance of Tianxiang Mansion, a commercial vehicle with tinted windows was idling, waiting for them.
Normally, Steve’s bodyguards would monitor all entrances and exits at Tianxiang Mansion. However, this time was different; they were all stationed in the front parking lot, leaving the back entrance unmonitored.
As Charlie Wade and his group approached the vehicle, the sliding doors opened automatically. Don Albert assisted Steve into the car, followed closely by Charlie Wade and Isaac Cameron.
Once the door closed, Steve noticed the vehicle’s windows were opaque, with a physical partition separating the back seats from the driver’s area. Inside the car, he realized he couldn’t see outside at all.
Surprised, he turned to Charlie Wade and asked, “Mr. Wade… is this car too private?”
Charlie Wade smiled reassuringly, “The place I’m taking you to is highly confidential, so we need to be discreet. But don’t worry; your people know you’re at Tianxiang Mansion. I wouldn’t harm you openly. Just trust me, and I promise to return you safely after everything is settled.”
With that, Steve’s initial worries faded away. Trying to appear nonchalant, he laughed heartily, “I trust you completely, Mr. Wade. Please take me wherever you need; I won’t flinch!”

They drove out of the city and headed towards the outskirts, where facilities like dog farms are strategically placed away from residential areas to mitigate noise and odor issues.
Don’s dog farm had undergone significant upgrades since last year, greatly enhancing its area, facilities, safety, and privacy. The most crucial aspect was security. According to Don Albert, even if someone were to raise a Tyrannosaurus rex, the world outside would remain blissfully unaware.
As they journeyed to the location, Steve’s drunkenness began to dissipate, but his anxiety grew in proportion. The more sober he became, the more apprehensive he felt about where Charlie Wade was taking him.
After a tense ride, the vehicle finally slowed down.
