“Huh?” Steve was confused, quickly asking, “What do you mean by another chance?”
Charlie Wade patted him on the shoulder with a smile, “We have known each other for a while. Would I really trick you? Now it’s your turn.”
Steve understood Charlie Wade’s implication and cursed silently, thinking, “Are you trying to set me up for failure? If I had known I was coming to Aurous Hill to meet you two, especially Zhou, while Peter was out drinking and chatting, I would surely lose my chance at being the heir. Steve felt like slapping himself for his earlier thoughts, but instead, he thumped his chest and declared, “Don’t worry! I’ll make sure to treat both of you well before I leave Aurous Hill!”
Charlie Wade invited him to sit on another pony. Zhou Liangyun then pulled out a bottle of loose white wine, sans packaging, and poured a cup each for Charlie Wade and Steve from a disposable paper cup before filling one for himself.
