The loaders and unloaders are only informed of which batch of goods goes into which carriages. They have no knowledge of what the goods are, how the carriages will be arranged into a train, or their final destinations.”

After pausing for a moment, Li Yalin continued, “The foreman supervises the workers to ensure they load the carriages as required, counts and confirms the loads, and then seals the doors. Once sealed, they await transportation. Upon receipt, the consignee must verify the seals before opening and counting the goods to confirm everything is in order.”

Charlie nodded, taking in the sight of numerous sealed carriages with codes painted on the tracks on either side of the platform. A quick glance revealed at least sixty or seventy carriages, prompting him to ask Li Yalin, “Which of these contain Duke Mining’s goods?”

Li Yalin retrieved the transportation plan for the following day, located the relevant train information for Duke Mining, and responded to Charlie, “Here is the information for the twenty carriages belonging to Duke Mining; we can check them one by one.”

Charlie agreed, and along with Li Yalin and the person in charge, they began inspecting the carriage numbers, quickly identifying several that were in the process of being loaded.

With the person in charge accompanying them, Charlie and Li Yalin confidently entered the carriages for a closer look. The interiors were about half full, with most items packed in cartons that occupied approximately one square meter of floor space and stood around two meters high. Each carton was protected by special wooden frames. Li Yalin immediately recognized the logo on the packaging and informed Charlie, “These are from Philil, an American company that specializes in thermal imaging equipment. They’re a global leader, producing not only thermal imaging devices but also various night vision equipment and drones.”
