An Understated Dominance - Chapter 257
“Uh…” Isfrid stared in shock at the head lying at her feet.
Who would have thought that the powerful Darkwrath could be killed so easily? He was ranked eighth of The Hundred Immortals and had single-handedly taken down the entire team five. It was hard to believe he was defeated with just one strike of a sword.
“What?” Fletcher exclaimed, equally stunned. He knew Dustin was strong, but this was beyond what he expected. With one swing, Dustin had killed Darkwrath, who was no small threat. Only Judge, ranked third, seemed capable of matching his strength.
“You… you killed my brother?” Lightwrath finally stood up, his face pale and tense.
He had let his brother play his game, thinking victory was close. He never imagined a skilled fighter was hiding among them, and that this fighter would lead to his brother’s downfall.
“I gave both of you a chance to attack together. He was the one who didn’t take it,” Dustin replied calmly.
“You’re asking for death!” Lightwrath shouted, his anger boiling over. He pulled out two pistols and charged at Dustin.
“Everyone, go!” Fletcher ordered.
The remaining skilled martial artists quickly joined the fight, surrounding Lightwrath as they advanced toward Dustin, trying to trap him.
From their view, even if Dustin was strong, they believed he couldn’t defend against all of them at once. After all, he only had two arms and two legs.
“It’s over. It’s really over this time!” Isfrid thought, growing more anxious as she watched.
The martial artists ranked on The Hundred Immortals teamed up for an attack. Dustin’s performance surprised her, but she understood that in battles between skilled fighters, victory could be very close. If it were a one-on-one fight, Dustin might win, but against many opponents, he would face certain death.
“Hmph!” As Lightwrath and his group approached, Dustin stood his ground and swung his sword again. With a sharp whistle, the sword shone in the air.
Suddenly, Lightwrath and his companions froze, unable to move. They fell to their knees, and one by one, their heads rolled off, spilling blood everywhere.
A heavy silence fell over the area. Isirid and the other shadow guards watched in shock and disbelief. If Darkwrath’s death was seen as an ambush, this one was all about raw strength. With just one blow, Dustin had taken down several skilled martial artists from The Hundred Immortals. It was truly frightening.

As Istrid thought about how she had underestimated him, she felt a wave of shame wash over her. It turned out she was the real fool.
“Release her, or die!” Dustin said, ignoring the lifeless bodies around him and staring directly at Fletcher as if he were already dead.
“You… How could you?” Fletcher stammered, cold sweat forming on his brow. Dustin’s power made him see the man in a completely different light.
“Release her!” Dustin repeated, his voice firm and commanding.
“You just wait!” Fletcher said, panicking. Without another word, he dashed into the villa.
Hummer Villa was expansive, covering an entire hill.
Outside, the square was chaotic, but inside the villa, things were lively with music and wine. A group of important guests had come together for the Hummers’ party. Everyone’s attention was on Joshua and Jade, the hosts of the evening.
