“Don’t kill me! I’ll talk!” The leader of the assassins was terrified. He quickly shared everything he knew, including the name of the person who hired him and where to find them. He told Dustin everything without holding back.

Dustin listened carefully and then took care of the assassins. After finishing his task, he left the building. While most people would take their time to seek revenge, Dustin preferred to act quickly. He believed that if he waited too long, he wouldn’t be able to sleep at night.

Meanwhile, in a fancy hotel bathroom, a young man with white hair named Wilson White was on the phone with Luis.

“Don’t worry, Mr. Langford. My men are professionals. They won’t leave any evidence. Starting tomorrow, you’ll never see that punk again,” Wilson assured him.

“That’s what I want to hear. I don’t want any surprises tomorrow,” Luis replied.

“Absolutely. I promise everything will go smoothly, and you’ll be able to take that beauty home without any issues.” Wilson smiled.

“Alright, that’s enough. That woman won’t let me touch her, so I need to find someone else to satisfy my needs.”

Wilson laughed. “Then I won’t get in your way.”

After a few more casual exchanges, Wilson hung up. He put on a robe and stepped out of the bathroom. “Hey, beautiful, I’m coming!” he called out.

Wilson was excited to meet the beautiful model he had met earlier. But when he entered the bedroom, he froze. The model was gone, and a man was sitting on the bed. It was Dustin!

“W-what are you doing here?” Wilson’s face changed. Hadn’t he sent the assassins to take care of Dustin? Why was he still alive?

“Your men are dead. Now it’s your turn. Do you have any last words?” Dustin said lazily.

Wilson’s eyes widened in fear, and he shouted at Dustin, trying to defend himself.

“I’m warning you, punk! Don’t try anything. I’m with the Langford family!”

“I know. So what?” Dustin replied, his face emotionless.

“If you touch me, everyone you care about will be in danger!” Wilson threatened.

“It’s the same old story. Can’t you think of something original?” Dustin said, grabbing Wilson in a chokehold and lifting him off the ground.

“Ugh…” Wilson struggled to breathe, his face turning red with fear as he felt like he was on the edge of death.

“Don’t! Please don’t kill me… I’ll tell you a secret!” Wilson panicked, his voice shaking as he begged for his life.

“Oh? What secret? I’m listening,” Dustin said, raising an eyebrow, intrigued.

“I don’t think you know why Dahlia is marrying Luis. It’s not for money. She was forced!” Wilson dropped the shocking news.

Dustin frowned, confused. “What do you mean? Explain!”

William pointed at Dustin’s fingers, and Dustin loosened his grip a bit. Gasping for air, Wilson continued, “To get Dahlia to marry him, Luis framed James as a murderer. He threatened to jail her brother and even send you back to prison. She agreed to the marriage because of you.”

Dustin felt as if he had been hit by lightning. He had misunderstood everything. He thought Dahlia was marrying into wealth for power, but she was sacrificing herself to protect him.

A wave of regret washed over him. He regretted not understanding the truth and regretted slapping her.

“Dahlia, oh, Dahlia… why are you so foolish?” he muttered to himself before leaving the place in a hurry.
