“Natasha, you haven’t eaten yet, have you? Come on, I’ll take you to dinner.” Dustin didn’t reply and quickly shifted the conversation.

“Now that you mention it, I am a bit hungry. Father, should we go get something to eat?” Natasha turned to Rufus for his thoughts.

“Don’t worry about us. You two go enjoy dinner together. We older folks won’t crash your fun. Go ahead,” Rufus said with a smile.

“Okay, Father. We’ll be quick and bring some food back for you.” Natasha didn’t press further. Once she was sure they were okay, she left with Dustin.

The car ride was quiet until Natasha spoke up. “Did you have a fight with your father?”

“A fight?” Dustin let out a dry laugh. “If only it were that simple. It’s more complicated than that.”

“What do you mean? Can you tell me?” Natasha asked gently. She had never seen Dustin look so sad.

“Imagine if a man’s wife and son were hurt, and he did nothing about it. Would you still think of him as a man?” Dustin didn’t directly answer Natasha but posed a hypothetical question instead.

“Well, maybe that man had his own problems to deal with?” Natasha said cautiously.

“If he really tries, he can do anything. Problems are just excuses,” Dustin replied, shaking his head.

“I don’t know what you’ve gone through, so I can’t give you advice. But I believe that someday, all truths will be revealed,” Natasha said.

“Let’s drop this. What do you want for dinner tonight?” Dustin suggested, changing the subject.

“Shall we go to Hillview Restaurant?” Natasha suggested with a cheerful smile.

“Sure!” Dustin replied, nodding his head. He pressed the accelerator, and they quickly drove towards Hillview Restaurant.

As they turned a corner, a loud bang echoed through the car. It felt like they had hit something.

“Oh no! We’ve run someone over!” Natasha’s face went pale as she saw through the rearview mirror that an old lady was groaning in pain in the middle of the road.

“Are you alright, ma’am?” Dustin asked, pulling the car over. Natasha jumped out and rushed to the old lady. But just as she reached out to touch the lady’s shoulder, the old woman sprang up and pulled out a knife, aiming it at Natasha.

Caught off guard, Natasha didn’t duck in time. Just as she thought she was in serious trouble, a hand shot out and grabbed the blade of the knife, snapping it in two.

“Who sent you?” Dustin glared at the old lady, throwing the broken knife aside.

“You have a bounty of a hundred billion on your head, and she has ten billion on hers. What a waste! I was so close to getting ten billion dollars!” the old lady laughed crazily, revealing her yellow teeth.

“A Bounty Killer,” Dustin said, narrowing his eyes. Edwin Hummer had placed a hundred billion dollar bounty on Dustin’s life. They had taken care of the Hummers, but Edwin was still alive, which meant the bounty was still active.

The old lady cackled wickedly. “Since you know I’m a Bounty Killer, you should realize that today is your last day!”

“You think you can kill us all by yourself?” Dustin challenged.

“Look around you!” the old lady said with a sneer. “There’s a huge bounty on your head, and I’m not the only one hunting you!”

Dustin turned to see what she meant. Eight figures were closing in on them. Although there weren’t many, he could tell they were skilled assassins.

“I know you’re talented, young man. That’s why I called the Eight Giants today. No matter how good you are, you won’t stand a chance against them! The more you fight, the more pain you’ll cause yourself. Don’t even think about escaping,” she taunted.

Dustin remained calm. “The Eight Giants? Are they really that powerful?”

“Powerful? Absolutely! Once they set their sights on someone, that person never escapes alive!” she proclaimed confidently.

Just then, Dustin flicked his wrist. A loud whooshing sound filled the air. The Eight Giants suddenly stopped, then collapsed to the ground. Each of them had a silver needle embedded in their foreheads.

In an instant, all eight were dead.
