An Understated Dominance - Chapter 363
A heavy silence fell over the crowd. Even the fierce battle between Albert and the four major gods paused. Everyone stared in disbelief. Had Hades, the God of the Underworld and a powerful figure in the Hall of Gods, really just died in one move? By a mere mortal? How was that even possible?
Hades had powers that rivaled the greatest masters and was a top expert in Streuqua. His destructive force was meant to be as powerful as nuclear weapons! Yet, this incredible being had his neck snapped by an old man. It was terrifying!
After a moment of shocked silence, chaos erupted.
“I can’t believe what I just saw! A royal god was killed in one move?” someone exclaimed.
“Is this a dream?” another voice called out.
“What an incredible fight!” someone else shouted.
The members of Boulderthorn watched in shock. From the Williams men to their leader, Sir Lincoln, everyone felt a surge of fear. Who could have imagined that an attendant could be so powerful? Was this truly the strength of the unmatched master from the palace? It was frightening!
“Lord Hades is dead?” Athena and the other major gods were stunned by the scene. They had planned for the four of them to hold back the West Lucozian army while Lord Hades struck a decisive blow against Rufus.
They had considered every possible outcome during the assassination, practiced countless times, and had a success rate of over 99%. But they never expected Nestor to arrive so soon, or that even Lord Hades would be no match for him. Despite their unwillingness to accept defeat, they had to face the truth: they were utterly defeated!
“Ares! Get out of here!” Athena shouted through gritted teeth as she ran away.
“Damn it! We were so close!” Ares yelled back, filled with frustration. But he knew he had no choice but to flee with his friends. If someone could kill Lord Hades, then they were clearly too powerful for him to fight.
“Do you really think you can escape?” Nestor said with narrowed eyes before vanishing from sight. Five minutes later, he reappeared, holding four heads in his hands.
The heads belonged to Athena, Ares, Apollo, and Heracles—the four major gods from the Hall of Gods. None of them had escaped. All four had fallen to Nestor Wilkins.
The crowd gasped at the horrifying sight of the bloody heads. Just surviving in the presence of such immense power seemed impossible. At that moment, Nestor was far more intimidating than any god they had ever believed in.
With a dull thud, Nestor tossed the heads aside. Then, to the astonishment of the crowd, he knelt before Rufus and Dustin. “Nestor Wilkins at your service, Your Highness, Prince of Theswe! And at your service, Your Grace!” He bowed deeply, showing great respect.
“What?” The crowd felt stunned, as if struck by lightning. They were still processing the shocking deaths of four major gods and now they had to absorb this new revelation.
Never in their wildest dreams had they thought that the unbeatable master from the palace, the one who had defeated Hades with a single move, would kneel and bow to someone else in public.
How could this be possible? They had always believed that only the strong earned respect. Nestor, the old man, seemed invincible! He was undoubtedly the most powerful figure they had ever known.
