After leaving Peaceful Medical Center, Nestor quickly got into a car. The driver was a pale young man with striking features, wearing thick makeup and bright red lipstick. At first glance, it was hard to tell his gender.

“Who would have thought Logan Rhys would hide in such a run-down medical center for the last ten years? And it seems he’s still fixated on the past. Should I take care of him when the chance comes, so we don’t have to worry about him later?” The driver spoke in a high-pitched voice, laced with malice.

“We can’t kill him yet,” Nestor replied calmly, his eyes closed. “As long as Rufus is in power, no one can touch him.”

“Everyone faces life and death, Sir. I promise I can make his death seem natural, so no one will suspect anything,” the pale man chuckled darkly.

“Don’t be foolish. It’s not as easy as you think,” Nestor said, shaking his head. “Do you know why Rufus stays in West Lucozia, serving our master, even with his amazing skills and an army of 500,000 men?”

“Of course! He’s scared of our powerful master!” the pale man declared proudly.

“That’s partly true, but it’s more about the consequences he fears,” Nestor replied with a slight smile. “As long as the Kirin is around, Rufus won’t act, no matter how ambitious he is. But if anything happens to his son, Rufus would become a dangerous beast with nothing left to lose. And when that day comes, Stonia’s fate will be…”

When the Princess Consort of West Lucozia passed away ten years ago, Rufus tried several times to move his armies from the borders. But each time, he held back.

The next morning, Dustin woke up to find the medical center spotless. All signs of the previous night’s fight had disappeared, and everything related to it had been hidden away.

The atmosphere was calm and peaceful.

“Calm as ever…”

“Lad, your father has returned to West Lucozia.” Gregory said as he walked down the stairs towards him. Unlike his usual drunken self, today he appeared surprisingly sober.
