Chapter 3450
Zachary stated, “Mr. Jimenez will likely go to Jensburg as well, but he’s elderly and not fit for long journeys. The Stones are more anxious and concerned than we are.”
Duncan inquired, “Who is Mr. Jimenez?”
Zachary responded, “Oh, I forgot to mention.” He then elaborated on Mr. Jimenez’s situation to Duncan.
Upon learning that the assistant to the former head of the Farrell family had been located, Duncan understood why tensions in Jensburg had escalated so abruptly.
He felt frustrated. “I know you kept this from me because you wanted to spare me anxiety, but I’m still upset and blame myself. If I had been more cautious while driving that day and hadn’t been speeding, the accident wouldn’t have happened. Without the accident, my legs wouldn’t be crippled, and you wouldn’t have had to conceal everything from me.”
Zachary said, “Duncan, it’s primarily because there is just too much happening these days.” He chose not to add anything further. They had withheld certain information from Duncan due to his mobility challenges.
Duncan remained silent for a long time. Finally, he looked at Zachary and said, “With those seniors around, I feel more at ease. Zachary, it’s getting late; why don’t you head home?”
Zachary replied candidly, “The situation in Jensburg has changed significantly. I haven’t informed Seren yet. My sister asked me to keep it from her because she’s pregnant and doesn’t need the added stress.”
Whenever the two sisters faced danger, Liberty always charged forward to protect Serenity.
Duncan fell silent again. After a few minutes, he remarked, “Liberty is always like this.”
Zachary replied, “She’s acting in your best interest. You’re not mobile, and my Seren is pregnant. Even though she’s three months along and the fetus is stable, you shouldn’t be overly anxious. Sonny is eager to go to FC Manor.”

To allow Titus to play, Serenity and Sonny will be staying at Johnson’s house for a while. Zachary believed that by the time Serenity and Sonny returned from FC Manor, any issues in Jensburg would likely be resolved.
Duncan remarked, “You’re keeping this from Serenity, and she’ll argue with you if she finds out. That will put you in a difficult position.”
Zachary responded, “I listen to my sister. If Serenity confronts me, I’ll just bear it. As long as my sister returns safely, she won’t make too much of a scene. At most, she might send me to the study to sleep for a few nights. When that happens, I’ll endure a cold night without a blanket, and she’ll soften up.”
Duncan thought to himself: My friend is becoming more adept at managing Serenity.
He then asked, “Will you go to Jensburg?”
He hoped Zachary could represent him there.
Zachary answered, “I’ll head there tomorrow and simply tell Serenity that I’m going on a business trip.”
Duncan replied, “You must bring your sister back safely. I’m looking forward to getting the marriage certificate with her.”
Zachary assured him, “As long as I have breath in me, I will bring my sister back unharmed.”
Duncan fell silent once more.
Zachary added, “Don’t worry too much; everything will be alright.”
“I’m just concerned that the old witch might take action tonight. She won’t wait for you all to arrive before making a move, unless she intends to catch and eliminate you all at once.”
Duncan frowned, the weight in his heart remained. Clarissa lacked the capability to harm Audrey and the others, so her schemes would likely target Liberty. Aware that Liberty had numerous allies, Clarissa would undoubtedly opt for a swift strategy to avoid Wiltspoon.
