Chapter 3626
Sariyah continued, “Aunt Audrey is the eldest daughter of the former Matriarch and Clarissa’s niece. With Grandpa Jimenez back, I’m sure Clarissa will invite us all, pretending it’s a welcome for Aunt Audrey and Grandpa Jimenez.”
She added, “Then my master, Mr. Dakota, and I will search the Farrell mansion again. Unless Clarissa swallows the gun, we can’t cut her open to retrieve it. But with our skills, we won’t fail.”
Everyone was well aware of Clarissa’s tactics.
Around ten o’clock that evening, the doorbell rang at the Queen family’s house. It was the Farrell family’s butler, delivering an invitation from Clarissa. She invited Audrey and the group to a dinner at the Farrell mansion the following night, under the pretense of welcoming Audrey and Old Mr. Jimenez.
The dinner party was exclusively for family members of the Farrells who held some status.
Clarissa made it clear that it was a family dinner, leaving the Queen family uninvited. She wanted to avoid making them her enemies.

Audrey instructed the butler, “Please tell your matriarch that we will arrive on time tomorrow evening. Ensure there’s plenty of food and wine. Since she’s welcoming me and Uncle Jimenez, everyone should eat and drink well.”
The butler replied respectfully, “Madam, I will convey your message to our matriarch.”
Audrey added, “In Jensburg, I prefer to be addressed by my name.”
After a brief pause, the butler, still maintaining his respect, responded, “I’ve delivered the invitation as instructed. If there’s nothing else, I will report back.”
Audrey nodded in acknowledgment.
The Queen family’s butler escorted the Farrell family’s butler out.
Once the Farrell family’s butler had left, Audrey glanced at the large stack of invitations. She…
Everyone was informed, “We have a banquet tomorrow evening. Let’s enjoy a good meal and drinks before we head out. Do not drink even a drop of water at the Farrell house. Be cautious—Clarissa might poison the food and drinks.”
Lilian yawned; it was time for her to rest.
She had been extremely busy lately, performing multiple operations each day.
This trip to Jensburg with Audrey was intended to be a break for Lilian. She simply wanted a good night’s sleep, knowing she had to face Grandpa Jimenez the next day.
After hearing Audrey’s warning, Lilian replied, “What do you have to fear with me here? Unless that old witch Clarissa uses instant-kill poison, she won’t dare to poison the food with her own family present.”
Audrey, aware of Lilian’s skills, smiled. “Dr. Carden, you’re right. But you should eat something before we go. You never know how long the argument will last, and you need your strength to fight.”
Lilian agreed.
Zachary then remarked, “Aunt, I think Clarissa is more likely to set fire to the house, trapping us inside to perish with her. Dunn probably prepared plenty of gasoline.”
Liberty added, “Mr. Dakota said he’d replace the gasoline with water.”
Everyone smiled.
They were aware that Clarissa was plotting something and were already brainstorming ways to counter it. However, they had not anticipated what Dakota and his apprentice were up to.
Both Zachary and Clive were relieved they had never encountered these old masters.
