“Okay,” Sonny replied cheerfully. “Mom, I can eat by myself now.”

Titus quickly joined in, waving politely at Liberty. “Good morning, Auntie Hunt. Have you eaten yet?” Liberty smiled and responded, “Yes, I’ve had breakfast and am heading back to work. You and Sonny should eat more so you can grow tall and strong.”

Jane interjected, “Sister Liberty, please don’t encourage them to eat more. They’re both big eaters already! I worry they might overindulge.” Liberty understood that Sonny loved food. Raised by Serenity, a fellow foodie, it was no surprise that Sonny had developed a similar passion.

He used to be picky, particularly about vegetables, but Liberty ensured he had some with every meal. Now, he eats them without complaint. Titus also had a healthy appetite and was not selective. He ate more than Sonny because he expended so much energy practicing martial arts daily.

Whenever Titus returned to FC Manor, Jane was astonished by his appetite. She always worried he might eat too much and tried to monitor his portions. However, Titus would insist he was still hungry and search for more food.

Most of the snacks in the house vanished thanks to Titus. The kitchen was stocked with a variety of treats, and whenever he felt hungry, he would nibble on something. Titus preferred snacks that weren’t overly sweet, so the Johnson family’s treats were only lightly sweetened.

Jane, who had a sweet tooth, found it challenging to enjoy snacks with Titus since their tastes differed. Nevertheless, the family made sure to have special snacks just for Titus, which the elderly Mrs. Johnson also occasionally enjoyed. She preferred less sweet treats as well.

Titus had grown taller but wasn’t overweight. There was a time when he had gained some weight, but Jane managed his diet, and his masters kept him occupied with activities, helping him slim down quickly. The old miracle doctor disapproved of children being overweight and always emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy weight, especially for kids.

Titus looked at Liberty and asked, “Auntie Hunt, when will you come back? Sonny said he misses you a lot, and I miss you too.” Liberty responded, “I’ll be back soon. When Sonny comes home, you can come stay at our house for a while. Would you like to keep Sonny company?”

Titus glanced at Jane and replied, “Auntie Hunt, I’ll have to ask my mom and Master. If they agree, I can go with Sonny to play. However, with the New Year approaching, I might not be able to.” He understood that his family was hesitant to let him go out to play easily.

He could only travel if he was with his adoptive parents or accompanied by Lilian or his masters. Unfortunately, when the masters traveled, they didn’t take him along, claiming he was too young and they didn’t need his help with luggage.

Titus pouted slightly, thinking it was silly for his masters to expect a child like him to assist with luggage during their travels.
