Chapter 3651
Chapter 3651
Elora playfully pinched Alonzo’s cheek and teased, “Do you miss me or Tatum? I just got out of the car, and you’re already asking about him.”
Tatum stepped out of the last car. Hearing Alonzo’s question, he smiled and called out, “Young Master Ormond, I’m right here.”
Alonzo and Angelo turned toward the voice, and upon seeing Tatum, they immediately ran over, leaving Elora behind. Although they weren’t very close to him yet, they wanted Tatum to pick them up but felt shy about asking.
Sensing their desire, Tatum smiled, lifted Alonzo, and spun him around, making the boy laugh. After setting Alonzo down, he did the same with Angelo, who was equally delighted.
Elora watched as Tatum effortlessly entertained her brothers. He certainly knew how to charm kids!
Despite her brothers not being very familiar with Tatum—since he had only been working as her chef for a short time and had been traveling with her—his good looks and exceptional cooking had quickly won them over.
Joly approached and said, “Miss, you’re back.”

Joly approached and said, “Miss, you’re back.”
Observing how well Tatum interacted with the boys, Joly smiled and remarked, “Young lady, the boys ask about you every day. I thought they were missing you, but it seems they’re more interested in Tatum’s cooking.”
Elora casually replied, “His cooking is excellent. Even I haven’t grown tired of it yet. The boys aren’t as picky as I am, so it’s no surprise they love his food.”
Even she couldn’t resist his cooking; every dish he prepared was delicious and beautifully presented.
Despite feeling tired from her business trip, Elora felt grateful that she never had to worry about going hungry. The bodyguards were also at ease, and her family knew…
She was well-fed. Tatum was truly a culinary genius. At such a young age, his cooking skills were remarkable. Joly smiled and said, “That’s great. Now you won’t need to change chefs as often.” Elora looked at him and asked, “Do you think it’s a hassle that I keep changing chefs?” Joly quickly responded, “…No, it’s not a problem. As long as you want to switch, I’ll always find you the best chefs.”
However, deep down, Joly hoped Tatum would remain with the Ormond family a bit longer. With the New Year approaching, he was not keen on searching for a new private chef for Elora. It would be ideal if Tatum stayed for another year or two, especially since there would be bonuses involved.
Although Elora was selective about her chefs, she treated her employees well. There were holiday gifts, and bonuses during the holiday months were doubled. The base salary was slightly above average, but the bonuses and benefits made working for the Ormond family appealing. Many employees stayed long-term, and Elora even helped arrange jobs for their children after graduation.
The New Year brought gifts and year-end bonuses, making employment with the Ormond family a good deal. For a skilled position like Tatum’s, where he had to meet Elora’s tastes, the income was comparable to Joly’s as a butler. However, private chefs who joined just before the New Year could only receive a small year-end bonus, while many others didn’t last that long. Joly hoped Tatum would be the one to break that trend.
