Chapter 3818
Serenity admired her grandmother-in-law’s approach to raising children and grandchildren. Zachary came from a family of nine brothers, and if she and Zachary didn’t have a daughter, she hoped one of the others would break that pattern. A fortune-teller consulted by her grandmother had predicted that she and Zachary would have both sons and daughters, but Serenity was hesitant to fully believe it until it became a reality.
Kiera laughed and said, “The more people there are, the greater the chance! But it’s always more special to have your own daughter to spoil.”
“You’re right,” Serenity replied with a soft smile. “I just don’t know if Zachary and I are meant for that.”

Serenity expressed her gratitude and reflected on Liberty’s journey with Duncan. Initially, Liberty had rejected Duncan’s feelings, and the
The Lewis family had opposed Duncan and Liberty’s relationship. However, Duncan remained resolute, believing that his happiness was his own choice, and despite his parents’ disapproval, he continued to pursue Liberty. Even after Duncan’s accident and his worries about being a burden to Liberty, his parents eventually accepted their relationship. Liberty cared for him, and despite their challenges, the couple emerged stronger. Now, Serenity was hopeful that her sister and Duncan would continue to face life’s challenges together, just as she and Zachary intended to do.
