The executives exchanged wary glances until a vice president spoke up. “We are merely employees of the Farrell family, not actual family members. We have no right to interfere in their internal matters.”
The clan elders, grasping the situation, shared their thoughts as well. “We support Miss Liberty as the successor. The role of family head rightfully belongs to her branch. The eldest lady has displayed remarkable integrity by returning everything that belonged to the previous family head to their rightful descendants. This is her way of making amends for the past.”
